El Trio Del SACO – Despacio Y Con Buena Nota 2010

The Trio Del Saco started in Cártama Station (Malaga) in 1996, and it was formed by two brothers and a friend – David Quintero on guitar and vocals, his brother, Angel Quintero on bass and Miguel Batun on drums – possibly the best drummer for his age on the Costa Del Sol.

David Quintero has played with the renowned Malaga blues guitarist Lito Fernandez and Raimundo Amador, amongst others. Brothe Angel who is the band’s bass player is also an accomplished guitarist and the two brothers often swap roles on stage, providing great entertainment for their fans.
Incidentally, both Angel and Miguel also play in the Malaga based band Mama Kin.

The band has proved popular at venues along the Costa del Sol, and inland – having played at blues festivals in Monda and in Mijas and having been featured on “Clear Blues” on Radio Onda Cero International in Marbella. The band was also a regular at the famous Route 66 in Fuengirola during the 1990s.

Their style is very much Blues & Rock with strong guitar backed by powerful bass and drums with a lot of influence from Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix. If you like your blues loud and full of energy, then this a band to listen.
