Mama KIN – Hasta Que Salga El  Sol 2010

The band Mam Kin was formed in Malaga in the year 1996 by José Luis Delgado, Fran Pacheco (guitars)and Vicky Peláez (vocals), and they were one of the early bands playing a mix of rock covers, blues and soul on a regular basis at the great Route 66 in Fuengirola/Malaga – one of the best blues clubs in Spain in it’s time run by the legendary “Steve”.
Since then the band has continued to get better and better and to add new material to their stage sets.
The warm voice of Vicky Pelaez leads this band and complements the guitars of Fran Pacheco and Jose Luis Delgado on Guitar, Daniel Lozano on keyboards and Trio del Saco members Angel Quintero (bass) and drummer Miguel Batún. Mama Kin borrowed their name from the popular song by Aerosmith and won third prize in the contest MálagaCreaRock in 2002 and they were finalists in the Costa Pop Express in 2007 and 2008.
They also played at the first ever Monda Blues Festival, along with the Lito Blues Band and Trio del Saco. The band are now regulars on the stage of the ZZ Pub in Malaga. The band have already recorded their first CD and will be producing a live DVD in the near future.
